14 days in advance though, and by bank Transfer/EFT - c/cards pay official rate.
Children occupying their own rooms or 18 yo will be charged the full rate.
Children aged <18 with max of 2, sharing with 1 or 2 adults, free of charge - D, B&B.
3rd adult not allowed to share.

 

Included: Bushbraai only every Wednesday and Saturday night - weather permitting, min 20 pax total; have to pay for the game drive though. VAT. 1% tourism levy. Accompanied children under 12 qualify for a free game drive, but still will have to pay the entrance to the Park.
Excluded: Sun City entrance & shuttle. Game walk on request. Drinks. Game drives R245pp. Extra game drives. Transfers to/from Gauteng
Check-in time is 14:30 on day of arrival, check-out time is 10:00 on day of departure.

Now as for Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge, Kwa Maritane's vehicles and the Kwa Maritane rangers:
Situated on the eastern side nestled sort of on the outside of the concentric mountain range, this lodge is great, even for kids. Kwa Maritane is more private and quieter than Bakubung. An absolute winner for me though is the space, the friendly staff, great restaurant service, excellent food thanks to the head chef, a great business centre and the live tv/video connection to the waterhole from your room and the bar. They also have a very interesting & informative little game info centre. The downside of this lodge is that there is a stretch on your 3 hour drive where you normally don't find much except about 2 months of the year. However, that same stretch is one of the rare places where wild dog are often spotted. Large open top trucks are used. There are only 3 guides, all fairly competent, quite good. Book drives direct on arrival.
